I hope we did a good job picking out clothes for the semi-formal

Yesterday my kids and I went out shopping for the family semi-formal we are going to on Saturday. I am going to wear one of the dresses I have in the closet. I am not worried about myself. My son's clothes was easy to find. I found his dress shirt set at Kmart. It was originally $39.99 but I wound up paying under $20 for it. He and I love it. We went to so many stores before we found everything for my daughter. It took about 4 hours. Once we found the dress at Rue 21 then we had to find a necklace to fancy it up a bit and shoes to match it. We went with pretty sandals we found at Forever 21.

Well my daughter chose her things so you and her must have similar taste. I like what she picked out to. I would wear it.

I can't wait to see how cute they look. My daughter wants to wear makeup but I dont think I want to let her. It is only 2 hours so if we are bored it won't be for long at least. I think it sounds fun.

It should be fun. The food and pictures are free. I know some of my sons friends will be there but so far we don't know of any of my daughters friends who are going. I hope there is at least one there so she will enjoy herself.

Those are all so pretty! I always love shopping for clothes but shopping one for my son is a difficult one. I just don't know how to dress up a boy.

My daughter is the harder one at the age she is at. She will be 12 in a week and is quite picky about what she wears. I just let her pick out her own clothes as I never pick out anything that she would wear.

Yea the accessories make a big difference sometimes. My daughter came home from school today and said none of her friends are going to this semi-formal family dance so she is going to be bored :-/

Thank you I think the outfits were really nice as well. It was hot with my son in the long sleeve dress shirt though. I realized once we were there that I should have looked for a short sleeve dress shirt.

I love the color too. I just got a cell phone case the same color. Unfortunately it was the wrong model though so it won't fit.
