Keep it at 300 at LiteracyBase

I found out early at this new writing site called literacybase.com that to get an article approved one must write an article that contains a minimum of 300 words, not 300 characters.
It takes more thought going into writing longer articles. If you like writing long posts and want to give it a try you can do this at literacybase.com I had to switch from writing more extensively at the currently non-paying site, PersonaPaper.com to the paying site, literacybase.com.
But as for short discussions and interesting reading I still think myLot really rocks and I will be spending the majority of my time here.
The problem is, to make sure an article has a 300 word minimum or more, you must use a word processing program that will count the words as you type them in the article then copy and paste it into the form on that site. After that, all newbies must wait for article approval before it can become live and begin to earn for you.
The success of any site largely depends on good writing but more importantly dedication to that site to keep up the pace and make it work for both you as a writer and the site owners for making it all possible for you to earn from it.
LiteracyBase is a makeshift microblogging platform that is created to add values to everyone’s life by providing answers, value added content on any topic.

This is an informative review of the site. It is probably not one I will add.

I think after Persona Paper closes down, you can use the articles you have published there, add more words, and republish in this new website.
i just wonder if it will pay.
I cannot find anything much about the owners, and where they are located.

@lookatdesktop Good luck to you.
Once the article gets accepted at Huffington Post, you will get the attention of a lot of readers.

I would start trying to submit articles to these following news papers, Huffington Post, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Sun Times, or the Observer. Just one article of human interest at one of these would pay plenty. They might just toss your article in the trash, but then again they might just print it. You can't guess it. You just have to DO IT.

@scheng1 , If they will even bother publishing it. I don't know if they would. I just made the suggestion. I for one think highly of the Huffington Post and I know there are those who have managed to get letters to the editor to such newspapers as The Dallas Morning News years past. I never attempted to do it but a friend of mine did and got paid for his short articles that he got published in the Dallas Newspaper.

I had not known this to be the case as I an American and did not realize Filipinos were somehow being labeled as such. Sorry that has been your experience. I can empathize with your feelings and respectfully understand your point of view.

@lookatdesktop thank you. The problem is our IP addresses are shared I guess. When one cheats, all of us are being accused as cheaters. So, sites paying per view are not for us. I am happy with bitLanders because it pays users base on QUALITY of contents submitted for review which is FAIR enough.

Thanks. I'll give a drive by! I have a lot of material over 300 words---they may not be any good, but there are a lot :)

300 words is not really that long in my opinion. I could do that pretty easily actually I think. I have written much more when it was called for.

300 words is a piece of cake for me as I have been writing since 1981. Previous writing sites I was on (not PP) had a 400 word minimum and once upon a time in the dark ages of print media, I routinely knocked out thousand word pieces. I have literacybase.com on my list of sites to check out. To tell you the truth, I have adjusted to far fewer word counts and find it easier and more relaxing than having to worry about word count and stretching it out and it would be pain to return.

That is why myLot is a success. it's more about social interactions and quality content and more interactions. But then some people like to write short posts and other like to write very long articles. Everyone is different. And for this reason I am glad there are a variety of sites out there to provide more opportunity for the diversity of writers online.
