Do Older Guys Need 8 Hours of Sleep?

Come on, its the lecture we heard when we were still young-- we need 8 hours of sleep to recuperate our body from the day's stress in work. Kids need to sleep 8 hours so they can grow taller and faster. Hey, we are not kids.
We are older now. We are a busy man. Lots of things we need to do and finish them before the day's end. We can't sleep until we finish them-- that's include finishing the assignment of the kids and writing here in mylot. And now, its almost eleven in the evening, we are still wide awake. We are way late to 8 hours sleeping.
Do you think we need to sleep now?

Adult persons should have at least 6 hours of sleep. but due to sweat and fatigue people sleep for 8 hours.

@ilocosboy Thanks ilocosboy. In winter we feel less sleepy, in summer we feel more sleepy.

Older people can already be good for 7 hours of sleep. I need that much of sleep to make me so active the next day .
