From where I am?

I didn't know that where you live is very important here. And my bad because I am a newbie. I'm still in the process of taking things slow and exploring tabs from tabs here. Also I'm having issues of my browser I'm using. I don't have a computer and the only means for my social activity not social life is my android phone.
Anyway, I'm from the 'Land of Promise' Philippines. And I know a lot of veterans here are from my country.

hi welcome to mylot yep we have a lot of fillipinos here so you are not a lone and anyway mylot is a big friendly countyr here I have always wanted to visit the Phippines b ut l ack of money kept me stuck right here b u my keyboard lets me visit you and other mylotters from all over the world. Hi fellow Filipino. I am from the Philippines. Been here since 2012. It is fun here, The best part for me personally is that I am able to learn from people who has different views about things and from all walks of life and in the world. If you have a problem, you can ask for advices here. You need someone to talk to, participate in discussions and people are so accomodating here.

Well it's your choice to mention it or not. But certain types of discussions might be confusing to people not in your country.. I've seen members that come here, no location listed at all and start with "As you know, in our culture/in our country/, etc...." No I don't know. I find that irritating.

@JustBhem I didn't think that was important at all actually. 
It can be cool to know where people are from but I don't think it should be necessary for not everyone is comfortable sharing such information.
But either way, it's nice to know about where you are from.
