My granddaughter is asking when are we going.

In many posts here I sadly talk about how time flies. Not so for my granddaughter Sofía, age 5. She asks me every day she comes when are we going to the Caribbean. I´m sure she has no knowledge of planes or distance. She only knows that we will go some place where there will be a beach and where she will play with sand and make castles. My daughter, older than me, explains that she has to wait a month an a half. I laugh! What does a little girl know about months and halves! She might not even know what is the half of an apple. On one thing I agree with Sofía: I am impatiently waiting. This is a picture I took at Aruba, nearby.
