I am finding it difficult to distinguish them too. But they say we can look in the color of the skin. They say Chinese are somewhat yellowish. My Chinese friend is sometimes mistaken as Japanese. It is same with my Korean boyfriend. He is mistaken as Japanese too.

We are all distant relatives, but because of genetics, and the difference between our relations, we started to diversify each race. So now, since to most people from the West, asians look alike. It's true sometimes and you can't distinguish the country of a person based on their looks unless you hear them speak. China, Korea, and Japan are neighbors and so many of them visit each other, start a family, etc. They're beautiful people though.

@addy007 slant eyes are for the yellow-skinned Asians. Filipinos are similar to the Sri Lankans, and Indians- bigger eyes and medium-dark skinned, in my own opinion

My mother said once they are all in one nation, but languages separated them just like England and America.

I don't think they all look the same but unless they give me a name, I don't know who is Japanese, Chinese, etc. Also some of them look like Latin or Hispanic people to me.

Probably they are cousins in the olden times. Yes, as you said, they have almost the same looks physically and have similar religions. They almost have the same skin color and fine complexion.

I think it's a region thing like Pangea millions of years ago, but there are differences. Saying they're the same is like saying Mexicans and Brazilians are are the same.

they from the same genes set, yeah i think they were. if we look from the history, there are a klaim that koreans, chinesse, japanesse and taiwan is a great big kingdom in the past. and then it separate by the time because of the desire of power. i can distinguish them. their skin and eyes has it own peculiarity. ^^
