Have You Heard About Snail Mail My Email?

I had read an article that this “Snail Mail My Email” is an online project of the volunteers that aims to handwrite strangers’ emails. They had send the physical letters to their target receivers for free. The total volunteers who had participated in this project is 700 with the total of 23,500 letters spread across the border. The main goal is to remind people how it feels to receive a handwritten note in the mailbox. I guess I am not lucky to receive this message from these volunteers. The manner of doing so is like the typical scheme of spammers or scammers. Did you receive any messages? If yes, how did they presented the message? If no, what do you think about it? Photo Credit:

I never heard of this website before. It's interesting but I don't want to deal with scammers so I wouldn't participate.

I also think it is weird to send snail mail messages through email. What's the sense of handwriting messages if done like this.

Reminds me of a video I watched on Friday, "The Letter Writer". It was very good, a man picked names out of the phone book and sent them encouraging letters.

What's his purpose? But I think it is a nice gesture for him.

@Shavkat He just wanted to be a blessing to people. It is just a story about how one person found out who he was, and how it changed her life.

Same here. It has been years that I never received love letters. There are no letters to be collected in my shoebox.

@marsha32 I got curious. But it doesn't make sense by sending handwritten messages and send it to emails.

I think they just do the handwriting part and send it through email addresses.

That would be a good idea I guess as the POST OFFICE service is almost bankrupt with all the emails now.
