Busy day... Birthday Party and Semi-formal

I have quite a busy day today. I am coming down with a cold unfortunately. I think my son is as well. He's outside playing right now while my daughters in the shower and I am having coffee.
At noon my son and I are going to my mans sons 10th birthday party. I was actually surprised to be invited to it. Its at his new place. It looks like a beautiful day for it.
At 5 is the family semi-formal dance. My son is excited to wear his new outfit.
I just chose one of my less fancy of my fancy dresses to wear rather them spend money on myself buying a new one. All my dresses are to casual or two fancy. This one seems okay. I dread walking around for two hours in high heels though. I would rather wear my flip flops lol.
When I get home from that I have to make a dessert for my sister baby shower tomorrow and finish her gift I worked on all day yesterday.

You are definitely booked! Hope you have a fun day at the birthday party, semi formal (your daughter is going too or is hers on a different day?) and baby shower is coming up fast! Enjoy your day! Have a great weekend! And your choice of dress is nice!!

I just assumed once he moved out he wouldn't want to stay together anymore. He rarely ever invites me to anything so this was a surprise to me.
