I Found Postcards

I took my son to work a little bit ago and went on the hunt for postcards. Of the two of the places I expected to find them - Bay Beach Amusement Park and Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary - only Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary had a gift shop. I really thought the amusement park would have them.
One thing I'm going to need to do when I go to either of those places is to remember my camera. I had two photo opportunities at the Wildlife Sanctuary and my camera is here in the office next to my computer. A good place for it when you see a family of geese and newly hatched goslings crossing the road as I entered or a turkey crossing in front of you as you exit. So unfortunately I don't have pictures of either.
However, I do have 16 postcards and two coloring books for when I just need to relax and let the stress wash off me.
So now I will have one of these fine postcards on its way to New Zealand to @valmnz. I just need to go to the Post Office and purchase some International stamps for postcards.

I think there are a few members signed up with Postcrossing. Now that I have my postcards, I signed up for the site too and will be sending cards out around the world. It's better than the pen pal program from years ago. I sent out a letter back then but never did get a reply back.

So now you have me wondering where I have seen postcards around our town that are for sale. I think one of our supermarkets has a rack of them near the greeting cards. I'll have to check it out the next time I am there.
A few of our local shops have them. And I am certain a few of the local landmarks that have gift shops have them as well.
The last time I purchased one was about 10 years ago. I sent a few off to a friend who lives in the Netherlands. She loved receiving them.

@just4him We have quite a few tourists that visit our town so I am sure that any of the shops that are downtown will have them.

ah, now that's where you found them! And I love coloring books, but with gel pens or markers, never been a crayon fan

@Jessicalynnt I have a box of 50. I've never seen that many colored pencils before. It's great and I started coloring yesterday. I haven't done much yet.
