This afternoon a man approached me and told me I was hot. To which I politely said "thank you" as I walked away. And he asked if he could have my number. To which I politely said "no".
Then he told me, "well come on give it to me. I have a Ferrari and a lambourgini. I'm rich." I was really irked off at this point. Some people stereotypes Asians as gold diggers. Which is totally unfair as not everyone's a gold digger. Luckily someone stepped in and told him to "fish off".
Do money really change a person's attraction meter? For me it doesn't at all.

@Daljinder You should pity the women he harasses using the same pick up line. I don't know if someone's even greedy enough to take the bait.

He sounds a real idiot too.
As if that would get you to give him your number..
Glad someone told him off too.

@flapiz And I hope no one falls for his selfish act too! And who knows if he's rich anyway! Just can be pretending to lure girls in.

@infatuatedbby Based on ocular inspection he doesn't look rich. And even if he does it's a turn off that he thinks he can buy me.

Some people claim that these days one needs to be “practical” so they also look for a partner who is financially capable, too. Which is a bit sad... Today many of us end up nearly worshipping money that it affects their perspective of others.

@anachroniSaM Yeah still happens up to date. So it's up to us to prove them wrong and prove our worth as mates.

@flapiz for one thing, we can't actually blame them (foreigners) for having such mindset towards us Filipinos. because the “gold-digging” still happens to some of them, don't they? that's what makes everything worse because we end up getting generalized as gold-diggers. :(

that sentence alone "well come on give it to me" reveals a lot about him.

This kind of scenario happens to me a lot of times here. Apparently some Asians have made a bad reputation for extorting money from older guys or any citizen here.

Very shallow indeed. And it's quite insulting that he'd think I'd dig him just because he's fancy.

Hey, you are hot! I own a hardly used wallet, most of my own teeth, and half a packet of partially melted chocolates (which I am willing to share)
Can I have your number?

Money doesn't make anyone more attractive to me either. Money comes and goes-how someone treats others is what matters.
