~Bad Things Happen To Good People~

People say this all the time...bad things happen to good people. Yes that is very true. So, how can God love people when He lets bad things happen people ask. Well that is easy. It is OUR job to help those people. He has given us the means to help others-maybe not with money but maybe they need an encouraging word, maybe a hug, maybe prayer. None of this costs money.
Trust me we have had MAJOR bad things happen to us. It would have been easy to "blame" God. What we did was take the harder route-we had faith and prayed a lot.
We were helped by people and now we are able to Bless others and help them-how amazing is that? 
If there was no bad on Earth no one would have any compassion and happiness wouldn't be as happy because it would be so normal to us all. Because of sadness, pain and death we know joy, happiness and health!
Think about THAT the next time your going through something hard or someone you know goes through something tough...

The good, the bad and the ugly. This is all that´s needed to appreciate the good things in llife. God is without doubt the wiser of all and the one who can teach us the straight ways on this planet.

Absolutely! I use to be one of those people who doubted my faith wondering why bad was happening to me. Once I realized this is when I should draw closer to m y faith, than instead of pulling away have I realized God has a reason for "bad things happening to good people." The reason is to draw us closer instead of away from Him!!

@STOUTjodee I think we have all done it-we are human. But most of us get out of that thinking. There are some though, who doubt God's existence over bad things happening. That I just don't understand.

@jahunt Yes exactly, that's what some people don't realize. If everything was good all the time we wouldn't appreciate things as much as we do.

I always tell people you got to go through some hard times to get to the good times and those who wait good things shall come to them. Just got to keep your head up and keep working it'll all come around one day. It might not be right away but just keep at it and it'll happen because I know I've been there. I've had help and I try to help others when I can so that they can be in a better place.

What a wonderful post! The Bible says to give thanks IN all things, not FOR all things. God doesn't cause bad things to happen to us. He allows them so they will hopefully draw us closer to him. So no matter what is happening, we can thank him for his love and comfort.
