If you had the money and the time to go, what would be the first and the second place you would like to visit that you have not been to before now?
I have always wanted to go to Australia, but it’s such a BIG country, there is no way that I would be able to see it all. I would especially like to go to Alice Springs and I would like to see Uluru (Ayers Rock.)
I would also like to go to Paris, France and see the Eiffel Tower.
What would your two choices be?

Lot's of people want to go to New York City. It is a fascinating place to visit but for me, I would NOT want to live there.
Denmark would be nice to visit too. I've never been there. I've never been to South Africa, either.
What is your favorite thing to do for fun where you live in South Africa?

@IreneVincent New York does have a lot to see so based on tourism, yes, but it's an awful city.
I would like to see Copenhagen.

I know this probably sounds strange, but I am content right where I am.

Not at all. I LOVE Myrtle Beach. I think I've told you that before. I've been there many times.

@cindiowens I used to LOVE to travel and have done more than most people I know, but NOW, I'm pretty much a stay-at-home person too. I do a lot of "arm-chair traveling", watching documentaries and reading about different places in the world.

@IreneVincent I am not much of a traveler. I am happiest at home with my family.

My oldest son's nephew and his wife went to Dubai. They sent some awesome photos from the top of the Burj Khalifa 2,722 feet high, the tallest building in the world. The photos were amazing. He put them on Instagram.

I have never been to France or Ireland and would love to go to both places. What did you see when you went to those countries?

@IreneVincent I suppose basically it is the sense of history with so many old buildings still standing. In Ireland I got fed up with the hedges which were forever hiding things I wanted to see but that was a small price to pay.

I've seen pictures of Bora Bora also. An island paradise, now, but I understand that many years ago the people there were cannibals. I wonder if that's true? I think Scotland would be wonderful.

Hard to believe that anyone could eat human flesh.

I've been to the Grand Canyon, but I have not been to the Great Wall of China. That would be awesome to see. Many tourists go there every year.

Like you, Australia and you are right in that an extended time period is required to really see the country.
2nd, perhaps China and the Great Wall.
Been to Paris.

I've always wanted to go to Ireland. Have you seen the movie "Scarlet?" This movie is a follow-up to "Gone With The WInd." It's a wonderful movie that really finishes the story about Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. Only one thing, Clark Gable was replaced by another actor, but he does a wonderful job in the movie. I'm trying to think of his name. He played 007 James Bond, too.
And the small English villages in so many movies and books seem so quaint and friendly. I agree. I've been to London twice but was not able to visit any of the small villages in England.
