The crumbs beneath my table

Do you know where that phrase comes from? it's not complete but I only need those few words to describe my post. By the way, I have emerged from the warm nestled quilt and eiderdown to get a move on with he chores of the day, the cats are still there, they are not moving for anything! “Housework can kill you if done right.” ~ Erma Bombeck Tidying up after a house full of people is just a horrid task and I would have rather enjoyed a cuppa tea at a friends house this morning, but unfortunately chores must be done! “I make no secret of the fact that I would rather lie on a sofa than sweep beneath it.” ~ Shirley Conran So its going to be a little bit of blogging . . . . and then a little bit of cleaning. As I swept the dining room floor before I wash and apply some polish, I found a few tell tale signs that my grandchildren were here last night. "A mother becomes a true grandmother the day she stops noticing the terrible things her children do because she is so enchanted with the wonderful things her grandchildren do." ~ Lois Wyse "A few green beans, little grains of rice the boys eating dinner, isn't that nice! Fingers are still clumsy to direct the food correct, so beneath the table lying a crumb or two detect. " Lany for my grandsons xx Gotta love the crumbs beneath any table as they are proof love was shared just there! “And this mess is so big And so deep and so tall, We cannot pick it up. There is no way at all!” ~ Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat happy Wednesday to you all - The cats are still sleeping.

I've just read one of Irma Bombeck's books. She had some great sayings.

What a beautiful picture, and a sweet poem. I don't have the joys of grandchildren.
