Dinner Time Entertainment in Pigeon Forge

Yesterday we went to Harpoon Harry's in Pigeon Forge. It is a seafood restaurant but they also serve several beef and chicken dishes. We were seated in an area with about 20 tables and and booths. There were only two other customers in that section and naturally they sat us right next to the other couple.
They were tourists and asked the server question after question after question. Every time he took an order or delivered something to us, they interrupted him and talked and talked.
We could hear most of the conversations and the part that made me LOL was when he said to them, "The funniest thing a tourist ever asked was when do they turn on the smoke machines?" I have a hard time believe someone was that stupid but I guess it's possible.
Just because they are called the Smoky Mountains doesn't mean there are smoke machines....its the clouds that rise up that appears that the mountains are smoking.
Photo is mine - on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge looking at the Smoky Mountains.

That is a great photo and a familiar scene of that highway. We have been to Pigeon Forge many times and have driven down that road a lot.

@LeaPea2417 That is why we moved from there. Even though we took back roads it didn't help much.

We reallylucked out - there is very little traffic - the toursits were here last week for Dolly's parade and next week will be packed for Mem. Weekend. Wears Valley Road light is the busiest intersection in East TN. We are in a cabin about 2 miles from that intersection. We lived not to far from there but in Sevierville.

@JudyEv I agree with you totally! Now, if a little kid had said it then it would be funny.

@AbbyGreenhill There would be some people gullible enough to believe it.

Gorgeous smoky clouds above the Mountain . Love the photo. Some people are stupid and others just do't have a filter for stupid...

LOL, I am sure most people wouldn't ask such a silly question. Of course, the server might have made that up just to make himself sound good.

@miniam Most people do that at some point in time, but at least you know you made a mistake and that's the important part.
