Happy "hump" day myLot friends!! I decided today I was going to do some "spring" cleaning. After all, that is going to be my "new" career is cleaning people's houses. After 2 months waiting, I got the "green" light that my back ground check went through and now I'm able to work for the Area on Aging through the State. She told me she would email people around our area that I was available for work. Couple of days later, I received a call from one of the providers and said I had 2 clients that needed some one to clean their houses as it had been a month that they had been without some one who was doing that job.
I called the ladies and I will only be doing one their houses as the one woman will be going to an assisted living/nursing home type facility. So, for now I only have 1 client!!
But that will give me time to do my own housecleaning!! lol Hopefully I will get more clients that live in the "village" we live in. As for the 1 client, by the time I pay for my own gas, I will only be making about $7 profit
for a couple of hours work
Have you ever had a job, like housecleaning or using the phone and when you were home you didn't like to do what you were getting paid for at work at home and NOT getting paid?

@marlina if I get more clients in that town then it would be profitable. I could probably do housekeeping for 2 clients in a day. But with just one, I'm mainly just paying for gas back and forth!!

I worked on the phone in customer service for thirty years. I didn't like to get on the phone when I got home at all.
