Bittersweet Euphoria (A Poem)

I just recently wrote this poem and it is about my daughter. It has been a very long time since I have written anything so bare with me.
To my dear Victoria Anne - 03/16/16 - I love you.

I watch you as you sleep
Your beautiful face smiling as you dream
I never knew what it was like
To be a mother and see importance in my life
Unconditional love is all I have to give
Your peaceful soul gives me purpose to live
I will watch you grow day in, and day out
I will teach you right from wrong, and love you without a doubt
I will protect you from danger, and teach you to be strong
You are just a fragile heart in a world gone wrong
Your eyes shine as bright as the sun
You will always be my only one

well motherhood itself is a gift and to pen down your heart for your daughter will always be special

@Anna WilliamsI have never heard a poem like this.This one is the best of all and ofcourse it definitely has to be the best because a mother has written for her daughter.Your daughter is too lucky to have a mother like you!
