I had my welfare hearing this morning, which went quickly. They tried arranging two job interviews for me – the first collapsed right away as the company runs credit checks that would expose my debts quickly. The second is for a warehouse a long way from home but they were unable to get through to them on the phone though the interviews are not until late June anyway. My mum had arranged a check-up for our family cat before her own serious illness kicked in. I contacted the vet to postpone the appointment until my mum recovers as in not being a driver I can’t take the cat myself and the cat isn’t actually ill just now. A show I was going to on Sunday has just been postponed for a week as a big fun-run event in Manchester this Sunday will disrupt people getting through the crowds. I’ll still be going on the 29th. I helped my sister search for some bills that need to be paid for my mother soon, which meant going through my mum’s correspondence, which felt very invasive but we had to do it – her correspondence was very disorganized. I spent the last of the day writing and photo-editing. Arthur Chappell
