My seeds are starting to germinate! Or rather, they started germinating days ago and they sprouts are just starting to reach the top of the soil now.
My Swiss chard and kale rows have sprouts all along the way which makes me happy to see. It is nice to finally see some green in the garden. Upon closer inspection I also discovered one zucchini seedling that is just about to pop up out of the soil as well so I imagine the rest of them won't be too far behind.
It feels good to see the garden coming to life.

They must be getting lots of sunshine, which is good.

I planted green beans and yellow beans last week. Just planted beets and zucchini. I have plants that I started inside that will go out tomorrow. I've decided to put the tomatoes into pots.

Swiss chard and kale are so easy to grow! And they are so good! I use them instead of spinach when they are tender.
