Horrible Service!

Tuesday we got a dish washer delivered. We were under the impression that they could also install it. Apparently not. We just got in touch with them again today to find out they won't be able to send anyone out until this coming Tuesday!
A full week! We can still use the dishwasher we have now, but we have a dishwasher sitting right in front of our stove that is in the way of us cooking!
It's an annoyance to say the least.! I am not financially responsible for the purchase of the dishwasher, so I am not sure if any added costs will be made for the installation, but I would be raising cane if there were!

They could have at least told you when you bought it you have to install it yourself.

I am getting all the information sort of second party, but from what I've gathered they bought it off the Kenmore website but it's a maytag item. The kenmore people (who delivered it) couldn't install it because it wouldn't be under warranty if they did?
Anyway, we will be getting it installed by professionals. Now we have to worry about the wiring, the wiring in the house is outdated!

No additional fees should be added if they install the dishwasher but it may cost to dispose an old dishwasher.
We purchased a dryer and we had to buy all the cords / plugs but I'm not sure if for dishwashers you have any plugs or is it reusable from the previous or included?

I am not sure how all of that would work either. The dishwasher that is there now? I am pretty sure it came with the house or very shortly thereafter. The house is about 40 years old now. We hope all will run smoothly but there is also the problem with old wiring. This house has aluminum wiring.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I hope all goes well. But they came to deliver on Tuesday and what'd they do? Just leave it in your kitchen then another person comes to install though?

I'd send it back and find a place that will install as part of the over all price and buy through them. Even if you got a good price on this dishwasher you are going to end up paying more anyway.

they are just Leeches sucking what ever money they could find before fixing this appliance, not fair!
