What Do You Do When No One Seems Likes Your Post?

Maybe we all experience this, that your post belong to "Discussions With No Response". But sometimes, I guess, it happens. Depending in the mood of our fellow mylotters. Me, myself ask, is my discussion not attractive enough to get some attention? Is it because it does not have photo? Or maybe the fellows are just to busy right now? But the best thing we can do is to be active in every time you are present in the site, isn't it? We should make feel our fellow writers here our presence. That we are not just observing the flow of our account. Presence through our activity, isn't it?

agree. It happens if author post another discussion while no one has commented on his/her previous posts yet. If we interact a lot after posting one discussion I am sure most of them will visit back to see our posts.

It also happens to me at times. I think it really does happen. When we have friends who are very active in Mylot then we become lucky because we know they will participate in our discussions but sometimes it fails too. I agree that I think it all depends on our fellow mylotters. If they feel to answer it, then they will give their share and vice versa. As for me, I just continue on participating on other's discussions even I get no responses on what I posted.

Thanks for the discussion. Yes, when no one replies or comments on posts, it seems that the topic should not have been raised at all. That is a difficult thing. Any topic which is interesting for me may not be interesting for the other person.

@ilocosboy Yes, may be some other person had previously written on the discussion topic.

I'm finding that it is easy to overlook discussions by accident. As I'm browsing through the most recent discussions, I'm starting to realize how easy it is for me to skip over discussions. Some of the discussions are hard for me to respond to because I'm not educated in the subject. I wouldn't take it personally. Sometimes it's hard for people to respond because they aren't familiar with what you're talking about. :)

@ilocosboy I'm guilty of doing this already. I was in a hurry earlier and ended up responding to a few posts that I was capable of responding to. Sometimes I don't have the mind to think something through, so I keep it simple.

It may happens but so far not for me, if it is so then i will post another similar by editing it. If your post is not liked by the members it means it is not interesting one, then we have to write / edit an interesting heading or title to the discussion and then repost it.

It happens to people who don't respond to other people's post or even comment back to their responses. Other times, people are just busy or wasn't around when the post was made. In fact, time offline was too long, they didn't see the post coming.

@ilocosboy,After sending a post,I keep waiting eagerly for likes and comments. As time passes, likes and comments come in.Fortunately all my posts so far have received more or less likes and comments. But in case, one of my posts doesn't receive even a single like,I would realize it's not interesting or it has to wait for a few days to be read and liked.

Hi, welcome to Mylot. Look at the hot discussions to see what people like. Look at the old no response discussions and see what people don't like. You will find your groove, just keep trying.

It's all about interaction. Being active in other member's discussion. But having an interesting topic for discussion goes a long way.

There could be several reasons why your discussion has no response. Perhaps it is the timing that you post? Don't worry, things will improve! :)

It does happen from time to time, sometimes because I've posted at the wrong time, sometimes my title just doesn't do the trick! Then it's time to move on. However, one trick I've learned is, write another post, following on from the last one so you can refer back to it by saying, in my last post I mentioned ........
