Welcome to myLot! When I first joined, just a few months ago, I had to familiarize myself with the rules right away. The rules here are different from other sites, but all within reason. It's just important that you read them and follow them.
You can interact with lots of people from different places around the earth and interacting is what is important. Writing interesting posts will also get you some followers, which is important too.
