First Full Day With Grand Kids...

Hello fellow myLotters!! Yeah, first time I've been able to have some free time and post something!! 
This is my granddaughter out swinging on a "home made" swing that her granddad made just for her!! I've been wanting a swing for 3 years now!!
Anyway, she loves being outside!! We tried to garden today, but it was too windy! We'll save gardening for tomorrow as it's not to be as windy.
The grandson spends his time inside on his tablet!! That will change some though as I think every child needs to be outside even if it is 30 minutes a day!! But he is washing supper dishes!! 
Just wanted to check in and see how everyone's weekend is/was and hope you all have a good week ahead!!

I hope you enjoy your grandchildren as I enjoy mine. Sometimes I want to take away the tablet, but on other moments they are a blessing.

Hey she looks like she is having a wonderful time on the swing. It was a nice thing grand dad did for her making it. My oldest grandson is always buried in a tablet,my laptop or the TV when he is here.He wants to live with me , I told him if he comes to live here he has to be outside for awhile each day.

Well of course your granddaughter would get your husband to make that swing for her. That is the written rule isn't it? LOL
Tell your grandson he can only be on the tablet for 30 minutes and the rest of the time will be spent outdoors. I know, easier said than done. Good luck with that.

I remember having a swing in our yard when I was a kid and it was lots of fun. Looks like your granddaughter is enjoying her time outside
