The photo is taken from our garden, a white bougainvillea. The variant has bigger flowers than the local type. It also bloom more than any bougainvillea. In our house we have different kinds of this kind of flowering garden plants. We have the collection of lipstick or the red and white combination, the pink, orange, purple, and many more. One thing that we love this plant is that it always grows flower, any time of day of the year. Of course, that if you can appreciate plants with its beauty and not by the fragrance. That is why we have lots of this kind of garden plant.

I love the way a Bougainvillea plant can make a garden look fuller. These plants grow literally anywhere and like you said they bloom all year round. This is why even my mother uses them to cover up for those times when our other plants are not flowering too well. Plus these flowers are cute, poppy and colorful! I love them. The only problem is that these tend to grow wildly and need to be shaped regularly..

@ilocosboy Ohh!! We generally don't pot them.. I mean, after all these years that I've seen Bougainvillea plants growing wildly, it just didn't probably occur that they could be potted!! But I'll ask my mom to try it.. Do these grow just as well indoors?? They could make great decorative plants!

Hi Ilocos Boy! It's nice to meet a fellow Filipino here in Mylot. Thank you for following. I followed back.
Anyway, we also have a garden with different kinds of plants. We have veggies such as ampalaya, malunggay, and ginger. We also have fruits such as papaya, banana, guyabano, and tomatoes. We also have different kinds of flowering plants but I am not really well-versed with the different kinds of flowers.
We have bougainvillea but not in our yard actually. It is right outside our yard. It is a different color which is pink. It is probably the most common color of bougainvillea here in the Philippines. I love how it gets a lot of flowers and how dark the flowers get in the summer. I would love to have one with purple flowers, though.
Those white ones are beautiful, too.

@Dextoi Oh, I am not really sure. This is not ours. I just saw this when I was going through some stock photos. Ours has smaller flowers, though.

@nanayangel I like the ones with smaller flowers especially when they get to bloom altogether. That one has great colors too...
