Need to Learn How To Play Jacks!

We recently found a Ball and Jacks game at Walmart. I can't remember the last time I played the game, but I thought that it would be fun for when the granddaughter arrives for her visit this summer. The jacks are large enough for her to grab with her little hands so she just might be able to give us a run for our money.
So in the coming weeks, I think that I will open the plastic container and then read the instructions. She is very competitive, she I think that she will especially enjoy playing it with her Granddad ;)
Have you ever played "jacks"? I might be able to bounce the ball and pick up one, but I have a lot of practicing to do before you arrives!!

Knuckle-bones... I've never heard of that, but I think that you have to bounce the ball and then see how many jacks you can grab at one time... but I could be wrong lol!!

Oh yeah, I used to play jacks all the time when I was a kid. It was a favored game. It was one of the few games that our mom would play with us...so we played it a lot.

I must have played it as a kid... but remember very little about it.
