Keeping My Politics To Myself

There's a petition going around where writers are voicing their opinion on obama. Wait, not on obama but on Trump? Then how come their little petition mentions everything that describes the current administration? Look, I have no problem with someone not liking a candidate but they should stick to facts and the provable. not some fantasy thought of what they think is going to occur. Other than a couple of the authors (Stephen King, etc.) I've never even heard of most of them. Some are probably as not famous as I am. Seems more of a marketing ploy to me "if you agree go buy my books". As an author who has watched the likes of celebrities, writers, etc all jumping on the political bandwagon I have decided to keep my opinions to myself when it comes to the candidates. Oh and by the way, King was singing Trump praises not too long ago when he thought Cruz had a chance of winning the nomination. Hypocrite much Mr. King?

I wish people would stick to the facts too. We are always finding flaws in stuff in newspapers and reports where something is stated that simply isn't true.
