A Day Well Spent.

I had a nice long two mile walk today, so I'll call it a day well spent. It was pleasant walking the trail all alone and just enjoying the birds and the green trees over head. My better half found a nice shady bench and I'm sure he had conversations with passersby. He can strike up a conversation with anyone, and people enjoy talking to him.
Lots of people were at the park picnicking and some birthday parties were going on. There was enough wind that some of the kids were flying kites, although they weren't flying very high. I made several pictures of birds and wild flowers along the trail. We ate at Frankies while we were out and brought home a box of leftovers. No cooking for me this evening. I hope all of you had a nice day.

That's one day well spent indeed. My father could talk to anybody. He's really good at striking a conversation anytime anywhere. Glad you enjoyed your day.

@RubyHawk I work on weekends but Sunday was my late dad's supposedly 70th birthday and me and my siblings together with our respective family went out for dinner to celebrate.

It is really enjoyable to take walks in parks full of trees, birds, and flowers. It is refreshing and makes you feel stronger too.
