I had used one of my many thousands of photographs in a post regarding the Poppy Seed high, which was that of the Antwerp Bourla Theatre on the outside.
Magnificent building and if you ever travel to Antwerp do yourself a favour and go for some High tea which is served in the Foyer hall which is ornate and beautiful with the antiquities that come with the history and create the best ambiance.
I think today I might do a little writing meander in and about Antwerp with a short slide show for you to see other of my wonderful photos!
I really loved being there!

I love Antwerp, it has such amazing history and of course is the home of Rubens. We did not have tea there however.

@Jessicalynnt ladies not that much, but men have to wear long trousers and closed shoes, ladies can get away with a denim and smart top - we are the lucky ones

It seems like a place I'll visit often if I had the chance. Thanks for sharing your photo.

@Inlemay your writing will soon be up to par with your photos. Take it easy, after all, we are our own worst critics!

There is always something gentrified about afternoon tea. I love it although one of the most famous places for afternoon tea was the biggest let down in my life not to mention the exorbitant price they charged. It was thoroughly disappointing. The most interesting afternoon tea I ever had was at Raffles in Singapore! Boy you needed a wheelchair to take you home!
