Water In The Basement

Just went downstairs to do my 30 minutes of walking and good thing that I did. I noticed some water on the floor near the furnace, I wasn't pleased to see that at all. We had a new furnace put in on December 1st, 2015, so what's the problem? I called the furnace company and they said they will be here within 2 hours, that should be before 11:30 this morning. I hope that it is a fast fix as I have other things to do than hang around here and wait.

Its almost 11:30 now, I hope that the furnace guys have been and that you have a fix to the water problem. Would it have anything to do with the a/c unit, you posted that you had it on high the other day......

@marlina I thought so, only because of experience in the very first home we lived in we had that issue. We have our house selling on hold currently.

Yes, you got it right. It was the A/C that was leaking! Fixed at the cost of $203.40. How is your house selling going?

I hope it's still under warranty, and they can figure out what's going on.

@marlina Glad it's fixed but what a bummer on the cost, I suppose it could have been worse.

I was wrong, it wasn't the furnace but the air conditioner.

Gosh I wonder what the water could be. My furnace uses fuel oil so if something leaked thats what it would be which would be a worse problem then water though. That is awful that it is leaking something and it is fairly new. I would be very upset.
