There are SO many ways to make play dough, and do many textures. I love finding new ways for the kids to play and experience new things. They were watching stupid YouTube videos, which felt like forever, so I made them this really fun dough out of three ingredients: 1 part Shaving cream 1 part Cornstarch Food coloring (optional) They had fun smooshing it all together. It molds kind of like moon dough or wet sand. It's pretty messy, but that is part of the fun. Plus it smells amazing. The measurements are approximate. If it is too wet, add cornstarch. If it is too dry, add shaving cream.

That is pretty cool. I would have never thought about doing that.

I think there are a variety of recipes for play doh..evne though it isn't as common as it used to be, liquid starch makes a nice play doh like thing as well.

I went through a lot of shaving cream when my kids were little. I would put it in the bath water as it does float. They had such fun with it.

I used to make play dough when I had a day care home. The kids had a lot of fun with it.

We use the regular wheat flour to make my little friend play...he teaches me how to mix dough for making bread..first it starts with a couple of tablespoons full of water in the dough...then when it does not come up as dough half glass of water, now add some more dough...finally he calls it milk. and starts transferring it into a milk vessel..all dirty dirty...his mom put her two hands near the temple when she saw us playing like that...I got scared. But she said nothing. lol
