Monday Blues

I guess many of you had experienced the so-called Monday blues. It feels like you don't want to get up from bed and just stay there, but you can not because so many works are waiting, or you should be ready for office or day job. Maybe it is due to the hangover from the weekend, the so-many activities on Saturday ad Sunday and you still want more of it because of the fun, specially when it involves bonding with friends and relatives. Do you also feel the Monday blues?

I agree, one has to "force" herself to move and it's done!

Sometimes I do but most of the time, I embrace Monday because it is the start of another work week for me. It is all a matter of perspective.

@acelawrites Because I work all days of the week but it's the weekdays that I have more control of my time.

Why? I find it unusual.

Now that we are retired this doesn't happen any more but it certainly used to.

@acelawrites I would 'chuck a sickie' and let them get themselves off to work! They'll soon get used to it!

Though I retired early, I still have it because my husband and son are working so I have to get up early on Monday too. Good thing you are not into it.
