Saw a man wearing a dress

I was checking out of Walmart the other day, when I saw three guys in front of me at the checkout counter. I didn't know if it was a man or woman at first, but the more I looked, the more I realized it was a man. It kind of shocked me, as I have seen people on tv and I the news as cross dressers, but to actually see one, kind of got me thinking as to why. I was wondering if he isn't happy with his body, and trying to cover it up, or maybe he just wants to give wearing dresses a try. I know it shouldn't have shocked me, as things like that go on all the time. He probably isn't sure what or who he is. That is sad too, but who am I to judge? Whatever floats a person's boat is what I say.

I knew that it does exist, but to finally see one, really did shock me. Times being what they are, it will be come more prominent, and an everyday occurrence. I prefer not to see that again, but I more than likely will. It is all so sad too, and all I can do is pray for people like that.

@AbbyGreenhill The way things are going, it is happening more and more, and I wish it weren't, but we know this is the sign of the times, and things like this are going to happen even if we don't like it.

For my X I think it might have been that the women in his life - his mother, me - were domineering, and he wanted to have that. I think he also thought he would look like his daughter. Yes, my X was transgender. Hence the divorce.

Oh, I bet that came as a shock to you. I know it would me to be married to a man, who all of a sudden becomes a woman. It is sad too, as they just don't want to accept their gender, and want to change things. As far as God is concerned, he was born a male, and will always be a male, no matter how many dresses he wears.

@just4him Oh, I am sorry to hear that. It is sad though, that he ended up being that way, that he wasn't happy with the way God made him. The thing of it is, there is a lot of that going on, more everyday, and it is very disturbing to me being a christian. I know it is going to happen, whether I want it to or not, but I just don't accept things like that. I know some might feel I should, but as a christian, I just can't.

Maybe it was a dare or a bet.

I am not sure it was a dare or a bet, as he did seem quite comfortable in wearing that dress, although, he didn't look good in it at all He may be confused too, but then I am not sure about that either. It is only an observation.

@pgntwo I doubt if it was either a dare or a bet, but then again, I am not him, so I really don't know. I just think he is totally confused as to who he is, and that is so sad too.

I would have been a little surprised at first glance as well. It's not something you see every day...at least not yet.

You are so right, and yet, things like that will be come a lot more common, and it will be something, that we will see all the time. I know I shouldn't have been shocked, but I was, and also disturbed by it, as he seems very confused as to his gender.

Since I had never seen it before, only seen it on the news or heard about it, seeing one in person, was a shock at first, but now I feel sad for him as he might be confused as to who he is. I would hope not, but then one never knows for sure.

It is really hard to say what he was thinking. He might not be happy being a man, so this is his way of expressing himself as a woman, not a pretty one either.

Scots wear kilts after all. Well, not all Scpts. But a kilt is basically a skirt, right?

@AmbiePam It isn't mine either. I am a woman and want to remain that way, as I am not confused as to who or what I am. I think though in his confusion, he isn['t sure who he is, but being with those like him might really help.

Yes a kilt is a skirt. This wasn't a kilt he was wearing, as it was a woman's dress, with flowers on it.

He seems confused to as what he really is, and that is so sad too, as God created him male, and no one has a right to change what God created. I am sre it hurts him deeply to see people do that.

@salonga No, he sure doesn't. God made him a male for a reason, and it really saddens me to see when people aren't happy with who they are, so they decide to change it. As far as God is concerned, he will alwaays be a male even if he wears dresses all the time.

That is what I am thinking too. He just isn't sure at this point what he is, and that is so sad, as God made him a male, but evidently, he just isn;t happy with the way he was creeated. One should be happy and accept the way we are, as we were created a certain way for a reason.

I personally have not seen a man wear a dress, but I have seen a man wear a womens blouse with a handbag. It does shock me to see this kind of behavior but it is getting normal now.

Yes, it certainly is, and it still shocked me. I don't know if he was trying to make a statement, or if he was totally confused. It is really hard to say. People can do what they want, but that sure doesn't make it right.

@infatuatedbby I agree as only they know what they are thinking. I prefer not to see that again, but the way things are going, Inprobably will as it is very common now. The guy at Walmart said that things like that happen everyday. I am sure it does.

Wonder who he is. I suppose if man wears a ring on a finger says they attached. If they wear one on an ear could mean macho? Or if they wear two something else. But when they die and go to heaven are loved by God because God loves all those children. Maybe the little things don't matter that much.

As far as God is concerned, he will always be a male, as he was botrn a male, and he can omver it up by wearing a dress taking hormones and letting his hair grow and such. It will never change the way that God made him, as he made him a male for a reason, and no one has a right to mess with God's creation.

@Bluedoll That is so true. He knew what he was doing when he created all of us, and we should be happy with our gender. I know I am, even though I had all the periods in my younger life. I wouldn't change that at all.

@rosekiss I believe God created the earth and mankind and in the doing gave so freely. I agree with you in your post where you wrote "who am I to judge" , me neither but let's hope God will direct in the best direction.

I'm not into whatever floats the boat regarding things like that, yet I can't really say anything about it either. I see similar things at my job when I'm working. I work as a cashier for a similar grocery/merchandise store similar to Walmart, yet only in the Midwest. It doesn't help either when women have that hair line over their upper lips as they age. We have men that wear womens' clothing, women or men where you can't really tell what their gender is and one young man that wears eye makeup. So far our store hasn't stipulated that men or women can use the restrooms of the other gender yet, or at least it isn't taking place in our location, so that's good.

The restroom situation is what I don't like, and from what I understand, they may require even churches to cater to the transgender. This whole thing is getting out of hand, but we are supposed to deal with it, and frankly, I am having a hard time doing so. It just isn't normal, and not what God wants either. After having a transgender walk into my church s week ago, anything is possible, but it has to hurt God to the core.

He might be confused as to what he is as well. It is still sad though, as he was born a male, and he is trying to change that by putting on a dress. The thing of it is, the dress will never change what he really is.

@birjudanak No one has a right to change things as that makes things all out of whatck as far as creation is concerned. He was bortn a male, and thwerefore, he needs to dress the way that males dress.

It could have been, but then I doubt it, as things like that are happening all the time now. What started out as a shock has me praying for people like that, as they have to be confrused as to who they are, and that is sad. I am sure I will see more of it though.

Haveing facial hair and wearing a dress, has to look awful, but then again, who are we to say anything. I just know that it will keep happening, as we are in the last days, and things like this are going to become a lot more prominent. It is sad, but nothing, we can do about it, but pray for them.
