When it Rains, it Pours (but never good luck or money)

My dad used to tell me "If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. I think when he passed away I inherited his luck (or lack thereof) May was not a good month for us. We spent several hundred (close to $2000 if not over by now) on our labrador who had multiple visits to the vet during the month because of a growth on his back. We eventually had to have it surgically removed. Now I have a wisdom tooth trying to come in. I'm 35 and growing a tooth sideways out of the back of my mouth. I'm pretty sure this is going to lead to my having to have oral surgery. There's another thousand bucks I'm sure. We don't have much money. I mean, we can pay our bills but have very little left over. So this has put a hurting on us. Meanwhile, I wanted a desk for my bedroom so I could work in there after everyone else was asleep, BUT that is going to have to be put on the WAYYYYY back burner because my dresser broke. The wood that holds the bottom two drawers in snapped. So my dresser drawers are kind of stacked on top of each other in a hole in the middle of my dresser and THAT is going to have to be replaced. But God only knows when and he's not telling. But, today is the first day of June and I really, really, really REALLY hope its a better month.
