Carjacking Leads to a Shootout in My City

I've previously written about the crime in my city being out of control. The other night it turned into a shootout on a downtown street, but it's not what you might think. A group of thugs decided to carjack a man at gunpoint – but they picked the wrong guy. As the man exited his car, he pulled out a gun of his own! He opened fire on the carjackers! His fire hit the one who took off in his car, causing him to crash. The accomplices then shot back and wounded the man in the leg. He continued to fire and a street shootout ensued. The one carjacker is in the hospital now in critical condition and another was caught when he dropped that guy off at the hospital. One of them escaped and is on the run. Hopefully now carjackers in the city will think twice before trying their work again!
