The rains have left me with a soggy garden and just waiting for the rains to stop. Its been almost 2 weeks and it is still coming. I try planting between showers but it is too muddy and yucky. Now we have a short growing season here so I need to get the plants in before long. Hopefully we will have some relief soon and I can get all my plants in. How is your garden doing?

Our modest garden is doing fine. Don't you have a place where you could put some plants inside until the rain stops? Then transplant them?

Yes I do have plants I started indoors but the frustrating thing is that I am not able to transplant them outside yet

@Freelanzer ...That's what I was saying. You have a place indoors to keep them until you can put them out.

That is a wet bleak looking vision.

bless yer heart, some years't jest seems's though mother nature's jest plum 'gainst ya, don't it? the garden here's doin' well, though i've concerns with the peppers. not sure they're gonna do well 'fter the 5 1/2" 'f rain we got the other day. thankfully our soil there's fast drainin', but those hot peppers might jest be'n the mild side this year.

Different weather conditions decide different length of growing seasons. Here in our area, which is a much warmer place, we can plant almost three seasons, even in winter when it is rather cold because farmers build a huge cover for plants to grow in order to keep the warmth or heat for the plants to grow. I don't have my own garden for planting vegetables, but I have a small one for growing green grass only, which looks nice. Take care.
