It is a heartwarming story.
This Chinese woman who is a single mother works at a low paying job to provide for her twin daughters.
Both her daughters have kidney problem and she brings them to the hospital for treatment.
One of her daughter asks for a chicken thigh, and another asks for a book. 1 June is Children's Day in China.
The woman has only 5 Yuan left after paying for the medical fee. She has no money to buy all the things that her daughters want.
She steals, and gets caught.
After listening to her story, the policeman posts in Wechat (something like Twitter in China) about her story. The policeman says that he is very touched after hearing her story. He further comments that the woman shows her "great love" for her daughters.
The post goes viral, and the public donation crosses 300,000 Yuan.
It is more than enough to pay for the treatment of the kidney problem for her daughters, and more than enough to buy chicken thigh and book.

This is very sad to see that. In fact there are still some people who are poor and I really hope that the government will have more protection for them. Some government officers are just crazy rich and catch some of them will be already good enough to pay for many poor people's medical fees.

Yes, there should be some funds to help the poor, especially the children get well.
China needs more young people, and it makes sense for the government to put some funds into it.
The defense budget is getting bigger and bigger, but that makes no sense when they do not have bigger funds for medical purpose.
If they can put money to investigate how to kill people, they should have bigger budget to heal its people.
