Omega-3 essential fatty acids are apparently good for the heart and helpful in combating cancer. It is always best to get any nutrient from a natural source. Where do you get your Omega-3 essential fatty acids from?
One great economical source is flax seeds. Do you know of any other?

The ancient Egyptians used flax as a food. Exodus 9:31 New International Version (NIV) 31 (The flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley had headed and the flax was in bloom.
Rahab hid the spies that eventually led to the survival of her family amongst the stalks of flax. Joshua 2:6 New International Version (NIV) 6 (But she had taken them up to the roof and hidden them under the stalks of flax she had laid out on the roof.)

I've read that Chia seeds have Omega3 too. Fat fish, like salmon is rich in Omega3, but one has to use the one that is caught from as clean waters as possible, and gnld.com has a strict checking policy, to avoid pollutions. Salmon Oil and Salmon Oil Plus should be as clean as we can find in this world. The Omega3 from fish oil is a bit different from Flax seed, and maybe better or just as goood - who knows..??

With fish so full of toxins these days, it's good to know that there are alternatives like walnuts, etc.

Here, every health food store sells the brown and the golden ones. Yes, some fish are a good source.
