Excursion Through myLot

I finished my notifications, wrote a post and went exploring to see if there was anything interesting to read. Someone wrote a post I responded to earlier about whether we looked at Newbie Discussions. I looked at those just now. I did find one interesting one that I read and responded too, but most of what I saw were one line posts or posts that had nothing I could relate to. Then I went to interesting posts and found I had already read a lot of those. My next stop was to look at who is following me.
I have 299 followers. So my question to all of my followers is where are you? If you follow me why don't I see you on my post comments. Do you just pick a person at random and decide to follow them and never more the twain will meet?
Of those I follow, I do try to see you and what you are doing when I finish my notifications, and if my computer isn't acting all weird on me.
I'm very happy to interact with everyone who makes it to my post, and I do return the favor, but if you have no intention of interacting with me, do us both a favor and don't follow me. I guarantee if I don't see you on any post I will not be following you.
Well that was my illumination for today. Now to interact with you again as I see more notifications from you.
No offense was intentioned in this post, so I hope none was taken. Thanks for reading.

@Lucky15 Incentive for what? My following them? Not going to happen. It takes quite a while sometimes before I follow anyone. No offense if I haven't followed you yet, though I think I might have, not sure, I'll know in a moment. What I look for is whether that person is going to be active. If they are once in a great while people, I won't follow.

It's called 'telling it like it is', and, there's nothing wrong with that. I have 31 followers and most of them are either 'newbies' trying to break the ice and users of English Translate...hmmm...I was using Arrid Dryxxx; perhaps I should switch to RightGuard.

I like challenging myself to respond to the no response posts, although some are impossible

yes, I am one of those 299 and have not been regular in responding to your posts. I had been away for a few days and after return, have been ill. My time for MyLot has been cut down drastically recently.
I have been reading the discussions about the Holy Bible from you for a while and though I am not a Christian, I still find many of those interesting. And somewhere, my being non-Christian is the only hurdle to respond - no, not because of religious background, but because of my non-familiarity or understanding of it. I know religious discussions are tough and in case I wrongly put up something, it may (I think, will) not be liked. So it is a kind of scare at the moment.
And no, your discussion was not offensive, instead I did appreciate it because it gave me a place to lay down the facts, that I could not have managed to get through to you.

I have seen many different kinds of comments on my Daily Bible Study, some from Christians, some not, and those from non Christians are very interesting and make me think and that is a good thing because it gives me insight to other points of view.
I'm sorry you were ill. I hope you're feeling better.

Oh, I love to interact with you and I like to read your discussion as I follow you from the start. Well, I tried to reach out to everyone here but sometimes they don't reach out to me. That's sad.

It is. I start following a person when I've seen them for a long time, then I know they aren't going to disappear on me. I also follow those I have a history with from the other site.

I try and read the post made by those I am following. I know I don't see every single one, as I'm not on here every single day, but I do go through and read, comment/like as many as the time I have for allows.
There are some I am following that haven't written much. I understand they, like me, are probably busier now that it is warmer. Also they, like me, maybe don't write every time they are on here. I would love to write more but honestly I just don't think what's on my mind is always that exciting to share with you all. So when I write, it's something that has been on my heart and mind and I hope that when my followers read it that it is something they can relate to and enjoy. That they would take a minute to like it or make a comment.
I understand your frustration about people following you but you not seeing them react to your posts by commenting or liking. Everyone's different. It would be nice if most would like or make a comment but what is is. I just roll with it.
Hope you have a blessed day friend.

I started following you and here is my comment
. Most of your followers may not be logged in at this time. but yes we cant expect all the followers to comment on all the posts you start. The discussion must be relevant and interesting to them..

Relevant does help. I don't expect them to comment on all posts, but at least on the one they read that caused them to follow would be nice. Unless as I stated it was a random act of choosing someone to follow without reading a post.

I had the time, and nothing pressing, unless you call packing up the house and cleaning to get ready for my upcoming move. But didn't feel like it today.

I followed the rabbit trails, of you might also like. I only checked ones that were fairly recent, or were by a Mylotter I was following or I knew was active. So far I've not seen too much interaction, but I was away from Mylot for most of May.

I don't think I followed those rabbit trails yet, though I might have if I saw someone I hadn't hooked up with yet that I was looking to find here.
