We, part-time CI’s have a private page on FB called “Tropang Prenship” (Troop of Friends). Whenever a colleague comes home for a vacation, we reunite and reminisce our times together. The colleague who invited me last 2nd of June works now in the States.
This morning when I attended the 7:30AM mass, I saw another colleague who works in Kuwait. We held each others arms and she whispered to text me where we will meet.
The message from FB confirmed that we will meet in a certain restaurant (Gerry’s Grill) at 4PM.
I don’t know, but I enjoy more the reunion I have with my colleagues rather than with my batch mates and schoolmates as well.
What reunion do you enjoy the most?

Reunions are fine, such a happy occasion. I like reunions with my college friends, we belonged to an organization that cares for the environment (and people too!).We laugh and laugh when meeting each other.

that is nice, there is no envy or jealousy among you members of that organization because you all believe in a common cause

@ridingbet I have not attended college reunions, it looks like not possible because no one initiates it as we don't get to see each other anymore.

reunions may mean too that we reunite with those whom we had interactions with. i still feel that i am not into joining the college reunions, but i attended elementary and high school reunions.

family reunions every year is nice, or when a relative comes home from the foreign land and we get to reminisce the past with them.

@ridingbet yup! Ahahah!
Even those parties at home, sometimes, I just stay inside my room while the guests are around.

we had our family reunion last December. my brothers from manila and the one from UK came home, so it was a siblings' reunion with my son as the exception.

@ridingbet We used to have big family reunions and it's nice to know meeting relatives we haven't met before.

@toniganzon indeed, if it is already a clan reunion then we meet other relatives that we do not know they are our family too.

@ridingbet Yes it's changed. I'm now a very social butterfly. As a matter of fact I miss being antisocial.

so, is your antisocial personality changed for the better now?

@flapiz why do you miss that? well, you can just hibernate and not meet with anybody so you can become an antisocial again, but don't think of going back permanently, it is a personality aberration.

@ridingbet That will still most likely be the case though with my family reunion because we haven't seen each other since we were all kids. So this family reunion is long overdue.

family reunions are better for me than class reunions because there are no questions asked about "where do you work?" or "what college course did you finish?"

that is nice. well high school reunions are better for me to attend to rather than college reunions because of those things where we ask each others' work places and experiences as well

Reunions are always exciting occasions especially when it's been a long time since you've met those in the reunion. Enjoy your meet up with your colleague.

indeed reunion with my work mates are better for me than class reunions. it is also exciting to ask everybody our work load for this coming semester, as we seldom see each other even if we live in the same city.
