The rich people are living longer, and they are healthier.
This is the result of a study published by Journal of the American Medical Association.
They based the study on 1?408?287?218 person-year observations (I don't know what that means, but it seems that they study a lot of people over a long period of time).
A simple conclusion is that the rich can afford to retire early, live healthier life and live longer than the the rest of us.
As for the poor, depends on where they live, they can match up to the life expectancy of the middle income group.
Personally I think the rich has more money, and they are more likely to go for annual healthy check than the poor.
When they have health problem, they are more likely to call the private doctors and get reports done in just a few hours.
That plus the fact that the rich eats better, and they have secretaries to handle all the bills, and whatever.
They just have more time, and less stress.
This study uses deidentified US tax records to estimate race- and ethnicity-adjusted life expectancy at 40 years of age by household income percentile, sex, and geographic area, and to evaluate factors associated with differences in life expectancy.

@scheng1 My boss is quite a rich person but he often keeps low profile. And actually he doesn't have much more spare time and he is like a working machine. Perhaps working is his hobby. For example, when he goes abroad for business, he never will think about having a relaxing trip after that. Such a simple person like me will never understand why such a rich person can live like that

In fact, the rich works lesser than the rest of us too.
We have to fight the traffic to get to work on time, and the rich owners of the companies just have to ask their secretaries to send the documents to their house for them to sign.
If they need things done, they will ask the managers.

If you search for great investors such as Warren Buffet, you can be sure that you will see them in their 80s or 90s, and they really enjoy life to the full.
The rich often go for their health screening that costs a thousand dollars or so, and when they have some discomfort, they will call their doctors to get a diagnosis or a scan.
The poor has to wait for hours with other patients.

Rich people generally have healthier lifestyle than us.
They can afford good food, and they can work lesser hours, and they can pay for more vacations, and club membership.
They can hire servants at home to do the housework, and cook for them too.
