I cannot do two things at the same time.

Yesterday I tried to cook in a normal pot some garbanzo beans for my hummus. They were cooking for hours so I ran out ot patience and let them simmer for a little while and went to watch TV. They burned at the bottom.
That´s Murphy´s Laws for me. There were enough unburned garbanzos, but I will use them in an everyday soup. So I soaked another batch of chick peas.
Now I cooked them for 10 minutes in my pressure cooker and set the kitchen alarm to remind me. I just turned the range off and only after I see how the garbanzos turned out I will go to dye my hair.
When I was young, I could do lots of things at the same time. I prided myself of being a multitasker. Not anymore. This lady has to learn to do one thing at a time.

I cooked the garbanzos first and then I dyed my hair. Both turned out well.

@marguicha Good to know both turned out well.Better than doing two things at the same time and messing up both.

Nope! I will not let a garbanzo win. I can buy broad beans though, for the other hummous.

My brain used to have lots of conections. Age and chemo ended all that.
