Found this in middle of the road

I went outside to buy some morning Bun (pandesal), our usual breakfast here when I noticed a rock on the road. Though small, it could be a disaster coming if i don't removed it.
After purchasing the bun, I went to the road when the vehicles were far and moved it. Some idiot probably did this late night just for fun, though trucks or large vans or cars wouldn't have any effect on it, doesn't goes the same with scooters and bikes.
Why on earth would some one do that? I just wonder...

Yeah, a fist size rock @MarymargII there's no way that rock could have move on it's own or a vehicle park on the middle? we usually use that rock to hold against a tire while the vehicle is in park.

Hello @salonga What if there's rain and they were in a hurry and didn't realize there's a rock over there? they would have been slammed over and over but might suffered terrible injuries.

Not too big for vehicles, but enough to throw people riding in bikes or two wheel scooters @MGjhaud so yeah Ihad to remove it.

They are crazy for putting that rock over there, but it's possible some crazy bystanders did that too @toniganzon but i could tell it's some kids who did it.

My guess is that it was kids. Many bored young people of about middle school age don't think beyond the moment. The part of their brains that affects judgement and sees cause and effect hasn't matured yet. A troubled young man about that age once confessed to me that he and some friends went to a freeway overpass and threw rocks down. I was shocked and asked why they would ever do a thing like that. He said they thought it would be fun. It had never entered his head that it might have caused a serious accident or killed someone. We discussed that and I tried to make it personal for him.
A few years later he and his friends moved on to more exciting adventures to "have fun." When he threw a mailbox through the window of a business he got caught and sent to a juvenile detention camp, where he learned to behave and graduated from high school. Fortunately, he learned his lesson and has become a productive member of society, now grown up, married, and with a job, ironically enough, as a federal prison guard.

@Letranknight2015 We still have kids -- at least one teen aged boy -- who like to ring the doorbell and disappear. Drives me nuts.

Must be some beggar kids at night. But that won't happen any more since curfew law had been reinforced. But way back years ago, I get really pissed when kids messed around with the door bell. I'm glad that when we renovated the place we had it place much higher area away from kids. plus the dogs can see them.

Yes,it can be dangerous for those in motorbikes or even in bikes who did not notice it. Some people could really be irresponsible.
