I gave you a fair chance, and normally, I won't give your type any chance at all...as soon as I see you, I am done with you. But no, I thought maybe...just maybe...you would prove to be different, and not the scheming evil underhanded spawn of the Devil that I normally associate your kind with. So I gave you a chance. But I told you, in no uncertain terms, that you were not welcome at my house, and you needed to leave...and I thought you did. Lo and behold, you returned this afternoon...and I decided enough was enough. So I took the action I should have earlier...I got the Raid. Goodbye, spider...

I definitely have a spider phobia. We have a truce. Outside, I leave them alone. If they are in the house, I go after them with whatever I've got.

I hear you. I was playing with the dogs yesterday and they started to sniff a bug crawling on the floor. Turns out it was a black widow. Killed that thing as quick as I could and luckily neither dog was bit.

I got bit several years ago by a brown recluse, and since then I just can't handle the things, even when I know they are basically harmless.

@JolietJake Most of our spiders are harmless, but we've had some migrants from Australia move in to Auckland so we have to keep an eye out. unfortunately the white tails like our part of Auckland.
