Beautiful Day, Beautiful People

Thursday, June 2 was the highlight of my year. I was privileged to go with a group of women to put on a spa day for campers at Camp Special Touch. The young people that go there have various physical and/or mental handicaps. We washed their feet, polished their nails, put makeup on them, styled their hair and took pictures of each one at the end. The smiling faces, laughing voices and lots of thanks were more reward than we needed for the day. I was so happy that they invited me to serve with them. Our leader started the spa day nine years ago. I have gone four or five times. It was a beautiful day with beautiful people.
