We have Mexican fast food restaurants called Taco bell and the ones in Manhattan make the best steak and cheese burrito but Pennsylvania is mushy and soft. Why can't they make a decent burrito? Its very dissapointing not to be able to get the sandwich I love

You would think that with a chain the food would be identical in every location. It is wrong that each location has different standards. I would write to head office.

Different employees & different managers = different food. Sad, but true.

@Genipher ... but they should have the same training. The operative word being "should" the problem is with the training not being consistent.

@pgiblett Reminds me a bit like driving, too. When we learn to drive we stick pretty close to the rules and laws. At least, most of us do. But as we get more comfortable we speed a little, switch lanes at the wrong times, etc. etc. Maybe it's like that in the restaurant business? An employee is trained one way and then adapts. Sometimes that adaptation is for the better, other times it's for the worse. Maybe??

I like tacos, burritos and quesadilla but I haven't tried the ones from Taco bell.

I've never had Taco Bell but it's disappointing when you look forward to something you like and it doesn't turn out the way you expect.

Food varies from worker to worker. There is an Orange Julius that I love to go to, but it's always a gamble as to how good our smoothie is going to be. We've had them so thick we could hardly use the straw, so thin it might as well have been flavored water, and on occasion, a smoothie that is absolutely perfect. Kinda like Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear from Goldilocks! It's really disappointing when you've paid for and are expecting something good and you don't get it.
