Taking My Mind off Moving

Just realized that we will have been married 40 years this December. That doesn't even seem possible. Isn't it funny that our body will age but your mind won't. I really don't feel any older than I did when I was 24! Okay, I hope that I'm a little bit smarter than I was back then.. but all in all, the time has just flown by. And now for the the memory part of our big day. Did you choose a special song to play as you walked down the aisle?? We picked "Stairway to Heaven" and a few years later, I read that tons of couples had picked the same song... and here I was thinking that we were being sooo original lol. So, did you choose the traditional wedding march or something special to the pair of you?

We are coming up 45 years married but there is a fair bit I've forgotten about the day. I know it was great!

Im sure you feel slower than when you were 24 lol. I married in Spain, l did not speak a single word.The song l chose did not play l don't know why.Im married 2 years now,am l smarter now? l dont know. Well done 40 years marriage is a job very well done.
