Common in rural provinces you see morning vegetable vendor shouting and selling something for the neighbors. Most of them are selling vegetable they harvested in their own fields or backyard veggy garden. Some are selling fish harvested in the nearby sea and some are selling fruits. The good thing about these vendors is that their products are cheap. That is neighborhood price. This is the picture in our place-- lovely and simple rural place.

@ilocosboy This reminds me when I was in the elementary grades - - I used to sell bannawag and liwayway in our village. . . Eventually, I became a top insurance salesman after college.

We live in an urban area but they sometimes come around our place to sell their produce. Saves a trip to the market. The price is cheaper and you are assure of their freshness. Would like to see your place but the picture does not seem to load into the post.

@ilocosboy Those vegetables grown with fertilizers have a different look, right? So, it is important for us to see the noticeable changes so we will not ingest foods harvested with fertilized produces
