Money VS. Family

So here is the scenario. You can have unlimited funds for your family - wife, kids etc. for the rest of their lives however it means you will either die or never see them again. OR You can live in total poverty with just enough to survive and be with them till the end meaning you will stay alive and well as long as they do. Which do you choose. Just food for thought and discussion

Enough money for all the basic needs and lots of love from family..this is the happy combination. By enough money I dont mean poverty, enough for a happy life not luxurious life..

@chris2050 hmm. in that case (though I dont like either) i would chose to stay with them..money is secondary.

@onlinetomakemoney yes, family relations are important and enough money to keep them happy is enough. at end of life we remember our relations not bank balance..

Well, either way, its also bad, I guess the best would be to strike a fine balance

As hard as it would be to never see my family again, I've lived with barely enough to pay the rent and I don't like that either. Neither is good. It's like asking what sort of misery do you want me to inflict on my family.
