I delivered my art on Monday and yesterday I got a call from the store in Niagara On Then Lake telling me they were out of slate and could I bring more?
Yikes I am a “One Woman Show” so I am going to have to say goodbye to you my friends on myLot for a while. Not forever but maybe for a longer time than I expected.
I need to stock this store to their roof top because before I know it I will be camping and gone for about a month. ( no painting allowed while camping - my rule).
I won't be posting anymore discussions until I catch up with the last three I posted. I will miss you and my time on line because I truly enjoy your company and I like reading writing and commenting. Just know that I'm not ill, I'm just busy making money.
Now that Hillary has shown her power all the “Hillary Haters” are crying fowl and saying she will end up in jail because the Republicans have said so... Have no fear, that is not going to happen.

that's great news 'bout 'em needin' more, although i know such's gonna suck yer "free time" right out the window, lol. always good fer the pocketbook 'n then ya can jest relax durin' yer campin' holiday.
i jest stay 'way from politics, what other folks think. though those were purty danged funny :)

@PainsOnSlate i'm glad that'cha canceled that show, hon. less stress'n ya 'n it seems yer gonna be quite busy anyhow with that one store sellin' out all the time, lol. no ma'am, i'd not known y'all were goin' to alaska - be wary'f their state bird! aka: mosquitoes, lol. those critters're huge 'n downright ruthless. big hugs!

I'm glad you looked at them. They are hilarious... I'm running away to my daughter home for some R&R. No paints coming with me.I also canceled my summer craft show because of no time to build stock for that too. I truly don't need the money but there is something about taking money to the bank that makes me happy. Have I mentioned I'm going to Alaska with my sister this fall? Pin money will come in handy

@JamesHxstatic I love it when someone agrees with me... hubby was listening to a news show he watches every morning and the question was Can the Donald win? The answer was that so far he has had ??so many votes but in November there will be Millions voting so he hasn't got a chance in hell...fingers crossed they are right.

What's that? We are both retired but both work too. He does something he loves and I do too. I am going to down size, this experience has taught me a lesson...Put your art where they get the best money... Its my play money, its fun to have funds guilt free..

They are always a bit of a fight between the parties but this year is so different. To have a candidate that lies, and speaks the way he does and behave the way he does seems to be so wrong. I'm sure the last election some thought the same because a black man was running, but at least that man had a brain and a filter... I loved the cartoons!

I delivered more and they are still selling. I am taking the weekend off and going to visit my daughter to give me a break and have fun in Rural Ontario.

I haven't been here but when I am I am trying to catch up. YES it is good that my art is selling so well, I worry because I won't be around in July but I guess they will just have to deal with it. I spoke with the store people and they said the same thing...surprise at the numbers sold and they will wait for more when i get back. I still have a couple of weeks to make more....
