Cooling Down!!

Or maybe I'm "chillin' out!!" 
Anyways, the weather the last few days has been really hot!! Yesterday we were in the upper 90's as we are today. Yeah, it hit us fast..the heat.
The hubby put the string in the weed eater in between working on his farm truck and pickup. So today I decided to do some weed eating in the ditch and around the trees by the road. Well, don't have enough extension cords for the weed eater. Besides, it was time to come inside anyway!!
I've found that when I get hot flashes or have been working outr in the heat, that if I get into the shower (with clothes on) and shower in as cold of water as I can. I get cooled down.
So, right now I'm cooling down!!

Sounds like a plan. I just wash off and then I don't towel off, just air dry. I stay cool for a few minutes that way.

Yes, the same concept except you have your clothes soaking wet. Sit in front of a fan.

My husband had a friend that had heat stroke and the doctor told him to take a cold (as cold as you can take it) shower with your clothes on. So if helping you revive from heat stroke is "weird" , I'd rather be "weird" than have to be in the hospital!!
