The other day I put up a post about the bad stuff that squirrels can do to an otherwise fine field full of delightful sunflowers. I caught the ringleader squirrel with my Pixabay camera as he tried to chomp on one of the giant sunflower seeds. Greedy little bugger. Well, perhaps that seed will keep him busy for several weeks so as to give the rest of the sunflowers time to do their thing out there in that field. What do you think the chances of that might be? * * * * * * * * * * Image source: Gus Kilthau - Seed using Gimphoto program, collage using CopyScape; Squirrel - Pixabay dot com; Sunflowers Serif-UK DVD-PagePlus software

I would love to have squirrels around here - but then, maybe not. I always thought I'd like snow too!

@JudyEv - Ms Judy - The chances are that you would like to have some squirrels around, but you would not like snow very much after the first time snow falls on your place. Until the snow melts, it is rather useless stuff. -Gus-

@JudyEv - Ms Judy - When I was a teenager we had a snowstorm that dumped more than 4 feet of snow on the ground over a time of 24 hours of snowing. A buddy and I mad a "fortune" shoveling snow from driveways and sidewalks. -Gus-

As close to zero as makes no difference, I suspect!

@pgntwo - Friend PGN - and... if you add together two zeroes you get somewhat less than one googol. I always knew that the Irish were all smarties.

@Ceerios Reminds me: Patient: "Doctor, doctor!" Doctor: "Yes, how can I help you?" Patient: "This cream makes my arm smart!" Doctor: "Well, why don't you rub some on your head then?" Haha?

Squirrels are such little buggers! They get into everything and stir up such trouble. We have a family of them around here who delight in driving my dogs insane.

@Lolaze - Ms Lola - That squirrel family you mentioned is very likely only trying to return the insanity to anyone or anything that gave it to them. Squirrel brains are tiny, but they are always possessed of actively firing neuron stuff.

@jaboUK - Ms Janet - Good evening (your clock...) - A squirrel has never been known to give up trying to do it to other beasts or to flora, particularly to the edible flora - and that definitely includes the seeds of sunflowers.

The ground squirrels have already eaten all of the sunflower plants at our garden where I work. I am convinced that squirrels are slowly taking over the world, and that even giant sunflowers are defenseless against them.

@TheHorse - Horse - Squirrels have owned the world since the dinosaurs all perished. They understand this. Just get out of their way.

@miniam - (minisam) - There is one rogue squirrel hanging out around the Lausanne area on or around the middle hill according to Interpol.following their investigation within the Vaud canton.

@miniam - minisam - One can always try to be good, but it is much easier to be not good (so I have determined).
